The Dodge Hornet has been officially given the green light for production. Sources say the Hornet will be built with co-operation of the Chinese automaker, Chery. Autocar predicts that the production Hornet will be unveiled as early as September in Frankfurt. However, we think that it a bit too early as the official announcement has yet to be released.The Hornet will be part of Cerberus's new 3-year $3 billion Chrysler renewal program. The Hornet will likely appear at an European autoshow as Chrysler will mainly target that market. However, there is a big chance that the Hornet will arrive on our soil soon after its initial debut.
