Many websites are reporting that they have received an internal e-mail from an anonymous source confirming that the next Mazda6 will debut in Frankfurt this September. The e-mail also stated that the Mazda6 will go on sale in Europe in November.Although we have to question the credibility of this e-mail, it also stated that the mid-size car will be based on the Ford Mondeo/S-MAX platform. We have no speculations regarding on which bodystyle will debut in Germany, but we can bet on a pack of Bud Light that all three bodystyles (sedan, hatchback, wagon) will debut alongside each other. The original Mazda6 debuted in Detroit in 2002 with all three bodystyles and we speculate that Mazda will continue the tradition.
