Look out Porsche – the new Lotus Eagle is almost ready to swoop.Auto Express can exclusively reveal the best spy shots yet of the new Lotus flagship that promises to propel the Norfolk based firm back into the supercar premier league. As you can see, the aggressive lines and low stance show that Lotus means business!Rumoured to be powered by a twin-turbo V8 BMW engine shared with the new X6, the mid-engined model will sprint from 0-60mph in around 4.0 seconds and on to a top speed in excess of 175mph.Codenamed the Eagle, it’s not yet known what the high performance model will be called in showroom ready form. All will be revealed when the Lotus makes its official debut at the British Motor Show in July.
