Hyundai Santa Fe and the Entourage were recognized by Forbes.com as two of the “Best Cars for Retirees” based on features that help mature drivers stay behind the wheel longer. In order to determine the list of “Best Cars for Retirees”, Forbes factored in NHTSA and Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) crash-test ratings, AAA’s suggestions from "Smart Features for Mature Drivers" guide, and additional features that appeal to mature drivers.
According to Forbes, “The Hyundai Santa Fe was chosen specifically for its driver lumbar support to help ease back discomfort, and Hyundai Entourage was chosen based on its power-adjustable foot pedals that help drivers remain a safe distance from steering wheel-mounted airbags.”
