Hyundai has announced it will stop selling the Entourage minivan later this year in America. Hyundai Motor America CEO John Krafcik stated that the Entourage was a “cheap lesson in why you don’t do badge engineering.”
Differing only by a unique front fascia and other minor details from the Kia Sedona, the Entourage was a dismal addition to the line-up. Last year, Hyundai sold a whopping 8,400 units of the minivan, down 50% from the previous year. Kia sold 27,000, down about 30%.
There has been no reports of the Entourage's fate in Canada.
