Saleen has made accordance with the Air Resources Board at a settlement of over $700,000USD for selling cars that did not meet California emission regulations. More than 100 examples of Saleen vehicles are affected. An ARB investigation found out that Saleen has been selling three models that were not certified by ARB. The affected models are: 2004-2005 N20 (based on the Focus), 2004-2005 S121 (also based on the Focus) and the 2005 S281 (based on the Mustang).The required recall has already gone underway at no charge.
