During the hiatus, many candid photos of Kia's latest model in the line-up were posted on the net. The Mohave, Borrego in the US, is the automaker's first full-size SUV and sits on a body-on-frame chassis. Although the Mohave does not have any specific competitors to rival in its home market, the V8-packing SUV will face such competitors as the Ford Explorer and the Nissan Pathfinder when it goes on sale in the US in 2008. The North American market Mohave will be called the Borrego, somehow meaning "sheep" in Spanish which might raise a few eyebrows in the prominent Hispanic community.
Here, we have a couple of amateur shots of the Mohave in white. Unlike the versions we get, the Korean variants will be free of Kia badges. However, it will have its own "Mohave" badges in an attempt to stray away from the value perception the automaker carries with. The Mohave in this series of photos shows that white really blends well with the unique side moldings. The rear photo (after the jump) shows some nice looking LED taillamps also. The Mohave is set to go on sale in South Korea early next year. The Borrego will arrive in the U.S. and Canada in June 2008.
