Kia Motors has ranked second in the amount of vehicles imported into Nigeria in the first quarter of the fiscal year. The report showed that 4,062 units of Kia vehicles were imported into the country, representing a 14.7% share of the Nigerian car market.
Toyota has ranked first with 11,130 units imported - an equivalent of a whopping 40.32% market share. Honda and Peugeot ranked third and fourth respectively. Kia Motors made its Nigerian debut in 2002 through Dana Motors. Since that, the automaker continuously rose to the top due to popular demand for its compact cars.
