Chicago: Saturn Astra & Pontiac G8 to Debut in Chicago
GM has been on a roll recently with new vehicles debuting at different autoshows that showcase GM's new and improved approach. They also captured both the NACOTY and NATOTY award with their Saturn Aura sedan and Chevrolet Silverado truck at this year's North American International Autoshow.
GM will debut four important vehicles in next week's Chicago International Motor Show. The Saturn Astra, a re-engineered version of the popular Opel/Vauxhall Astra compact in Europe, will debut in Chicago and will complete Saturn's reinvention of their line-up. The Pontiac G8, still yet to be confirmed if it will debut in concept or production guise, will debut in Chicago. The Pontiac G8, a re-engineered version of the popular Austrailian-built Holden Commodore VE, will be based on GM's Zeta RWD platform and will stir Pontiac's sporty image to new heights.
Chevrolet will also debut two special editions of the Corvette, one rumoured to be the Indy Pace Car.
