Chicago: Pontiac G8 Accidentally Revealed by Showfloor Webcams
The Chicago Autoshow gained attention recently when it was announced the Pontiac G8 and other highly-anticipated vehicles were going to debut there. The Chicago Autoshow is well-known for having public webcams on its website for viewing before and after the show starts. They are also well-known for encountering mishaps, strangely involving GM alot.
The Pontiac G8 was revealed unofficially by a run-through of the video on their show screen, by our folks over at GMInsideNews who had caught the video through the webcams. Thanks to them, we can now confirm that the G8 is nothing more than a rebadged Holden Commodore VE SS-V, in which we have no problem. The rear-wheel drive, V8-powered, performance sedan, might just well imply GM's recent turn in market approach.
