GM released an image yesterday of the three top executives posing in front of a clay model of the 2009 Camaro. Chairman and CEO Rick Wagoner, Vice President Bob Lutz and Fritz Henderson, standing respectively, the pic was captioned "production clay model". The clay model looks strikingly similarly to the Concept, something that doesn't happen often in the automotive world regarding concepts morphing into production models. However, the more interesting part of the image was what was behind the executives.

Something that caught our eyes was the barely noticeable poster of what seems to be renderings of a possible future Chevrolet model. GMInsideNews was able to zoom in on the mystery vehicle, and we can definitely tell that it's a Chevrolet with the Chevrolet Volt-style front end. Many people took guesses from the future RWD Impala to a possible replacement of the Chevelle Coupe. We can't put our money on either of those because the car faintly shows only one door on the side, which indicates a coupe. However, no plans were announced of a successor of the Chevelle ever in the pipeline.
Whichever car it might be (it might be a different car after all), it sure looks great and we hope to see it alot closer someday.
