Shaquille O'Neal, better known as Shaq, received special customizations on his Lamborghini Gallardo today. The star of the Miami Heat needed some length onto his Gallardo and felt uncomfortable when squeezing his 7-foot-1 body into the tiny little interior the Gallardo offered. Gaffoglio Family Metalcrafters, a well-known supplier to big companies such as Boeing and PPG Aerospace Glass, added 12 inches of length in the middle of his Gallardo.[Source: Edmunds]

Lengthened custom doors, roof and side windows were added to maximise the interior space of the car, while maintaining its 'visual integrity'. Glass fabrication was a big challenge for them and they relied on their aerospace and coachworks division to make everything right. Well, sure enough, not many could detect a trace of difference between the original Gallardo and the Shaq-ified custom version. It certainly looks appealing to us and we wouldn't mind cruising around the 'stretched' Gallardo ourselves.
